Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) between Cashee Tech - FZE, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, service providers, and assigns Cashee (‘Cashee’, ‘us,’ ‘we,’ ‘our’) and you (“you,” “your”), the end user of our website (www.Cashee.com) (the “Site”) and the Cashee mobile app (the “App”), govern your use of our products and services we may offer through this Site and the App from time to time, which we refer to collectively as our “Services”.
Minors, as defined under applicable law, can only use the App, Cashee Account and access features of the Services with a parent’s authorization. A parent of the minor must have reached the age of legal majority under the applicable law.
No one under the age of 13 can use the Services.
If you are a parent of a user who is a minor, you agree that by allowing the minor to use the Services you are designating that minor as an authorized user (“Authorized User”) and that you are responsible for you and the minor’s compliance with these Terms. You are responsible for all Authorized Users’ use of the Services and compliance with these Terms.
As a parent, it is fundamentally important that you read these Terms and Conditions, because this is where we outline our responsibilities as website and mobile app owners, and yours as a website and mobile app user. By successfully registering with Cashee and using the website or through the mobile app, you are accepting these terms and conditions and are legally bound by them.
1. Changes to These Terms
Cashee may change provisions of these Terms at any time, including when there are changes in our Services, technology, or laws, or for other reasons. If we do, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on the Site.
Any changed Terms will become effective immediately after they are posted and will apply prospectively to your use of our Services after the changes become effective, except that changes addressing modifications to our Services or new functions or changes made for legal reasons may be effective immediately, with or without notice to you.
Your continued use following the effective date of any changes will constitute your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to any changed Terms and Conditions, you must discontinue using our Services.
We may discontinue, temporarily or permanently, our Services, or any part of our Services, or otherwise change the Services we offer with or without notice. You agree that we will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of our Services.
2. Your Responsibilities
Please note that if you are under eighteen years old you may only use our website or app to register with us with the prior authorisation of your parent.
We may, for example, use the details you provide us with to communicate with you.
You warrant that all the information provided to us for the purpose of registering with us, obtaining a Cashee Card and opening a Cashee Account for your child is true, complete and current.
When you register with us you must choose a password. You are responsible for all actions taken under your password and you must only use the Cashee website or app under your own password. It is your responsibility to keep your password safe and to ensure that it is not disclosed to anyone. If you think someone else might know it, you must change it. You must not permit anyone else to use your password.
Your child will be able to choose their own password. This must also be kept safe and not disclosed to anyone other than you as thier parent.
We take yours and your child’s privacy very seriously.
We will not pass on your personal, debit card or bank account details to anyone other than our banking partners.
All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
As stated above, the Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore you are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.
4. Loading onto your Cashee Parent Account
The funds uploaded by you as the parent into your Cashee Parent Account can then be used by you to pay onwards to your child’s account.
We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED (or any other agreed currency)”.
We note that Cashee does not hold onto your bank details. If you choose to give these details to us in order to pay, they will be passed on to our Payment Gateway Partner and held securely by them.
The funds uploaded into your Cashee Parent Account and /or paid onwards to your child’s account is held securely with our Partner Bank. Cashee does not hold your funds or have access to your funds in anyway.
5. Load Fee
We are committed to making Cashee as available as possible and choose not to charge your child any fees.
For Loads made into the Cashee Parent Account by the parent, Cashee will charge 5 AED per load. This is a one-off charge per load to cover the costs of the Payment Gateway Partner.
There are no charges for any payment or fund transfers made by you into your child’s account.
6. Replacement Cashee Card
The first Cashee Card issued to your child is free of charge.
Should you or your child require a replacement card for any reason, Cashee will charge 30 AED to cover the production and delivery costs of the Replacement Cashee Card.
If you register with us to open an account for your child and then change your mind, please let us know by calling us on 04-3712965 or emailing on [email protected] and we will cancel your application.
If your child’s Cashee Card has already been sent out, we’ll arrange to cancel the card and refund the balance of your account.
Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.
8. Cashee Referral Program
We run a Cashee Referral Program. The Referral Program is governed by separate Terms and Conditions. For more details please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the Cashee Referral Program.
All of the content of our website, including the Cashee logo, is owned by us and is protected by UAE and international copyright laws. Please don’t copy, download or use any of our material for either private or commercial use.
10. Uploading images and other material
You must not upload, message, transmit or otherwise make available or initiate any content that:
- Is unlawful, libellous, abusive, obscene, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable;
- Includes information that you do not have the right to disclose or make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as insider information, or proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
- Infringes upon patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or other proprietary rights;
11. Questions to our customer service and messages on our site
If you post questions for our customer service or messages on our blogs or forums you own the copyright to this text. However, by posting text, you grant us unlimited free license to republish that text on our site and to redistribute, make available or sell that text in print or electronic form anywhere in the world as part of an edited compilation or otherwise.
We can't promise that your access to our site, or its content, will be delivered uninterrupted or error- free, or that the site will be free from viruses or other harmful properties. It is your responsibility to put in place satisfactory safeguards and procedures to make sure that any material you obtain through our site is free from contaminations or other harmful properties.
We have taken every measure we can to prevent internet fraud and to ensure that any data collected from you is kept safe and secure. However, in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers, we cannot be held liable.
Under no circumstances will we be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or other kind of loss or injury resulting from your use or downloading of any content on our site.
13. Additional legal information
It is a crime to use a false name or a debit card or bank account that is known to be invalid. If you are caught entering false or fictitious information you will be prosecuted.
Cashee has the right to end our agreement with you and to suspend or terminate your access to the website if any of the following occurs:
- You breach our terms and conditions
- You fail to make a payment to us that is due
- You fail to provide, when asked, information to allow us to check your identity or the validity of any information you have given us
- We suspect you have been or are engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity on Cashee.com
- For any other reason
If you break any of these terms and conditions, or if liabilities are incurred as a result of your use of the website, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses, including legal fees, that we, or our employees, officers, directors or agents incur as a result. This will include any costs that result if someone else uses your personal information, or your Cashee account, unless you can prove that it has been used fraudulently.
14. Office of Foreign Assets Control
The Site or App will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the laws of the UAE.
15. Governing law
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Site or App shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
